About Carter

Carter serves as a GIS Mapper focused on community and infrastructure mapping for rural towns and regional partners. He builds service-area and asset layers, highlights low-to-moderate-income (LMI) priorities, and packages data for grant applications and board briefings. With a background in on-air communications (play-by-play and color commentary), he translates analysis into clear, public-friendly narratives leaders can run with. He holds a B.A., Communications (Minor: Sports Management) — Rogers State University; Dean’s Honor Roll. A Cherokee Nation citizen, community volunteer, and youth sports advocate, Carter is also the co-creator of the regional sports podcast “Straight Off the Bench.”
